In less than an hour, Google’s new smartphone Nexus 4  literally vanished into the blues,  keeping thousands of prospective buyers in Europe, USA, and Australia in wild guess whether the smartphone from Google was ever put on the cart for sale . Reportedly, a planned launch of the phone in Netherlands was scrapped amid high demand elsewhere.

Buyers were stunned to be received by a “Coming Soon” banner for both the 8GB (£ 239) and the 16GB ( £ 279) versions of the Nexus 4. Buyers also had trouble accessing the Google Play for checking the availability of the device. The sluggish and unresponsive attitude of Google Store was severely criticized and buyers complained that frequent shopping cart errors occurred. As soon as the new smartphone was introduced in Google play, its competitively low unsubsidised price and the great features suddenly attracted so many buyers, that Play Store reached a breaking point where the it just gave up.

Meanwhile, commenting on the hiccup, the Nexus team mentioned in GPlus that   “There’s been so much interest for the Nexus line-up that we’ve sold out of some of our initial stock in a few countries. We are working hard to add more Nexus devices to Google Play in the coming weeks to keep up with the high demand’’.

The Nexus 4 is really great value for money. It’s a shame that demand still seems to be greater than supply. A lot of people out there are willing to part with their money for the Nexus 4 and Google just aren’t taking advantage of this fact.

I think Google haven’t thought that they will have this kind of demand for their smartphone and that is why they are not ready to fulfill customers requirements. Still it is a great thing to here about Google smart phone that in this though smartphone market they are having the good demand. I hope it will rock the smartphone market again.

The reason the Nexus 4 sparked my interest was the feature of gesture typing technology. It makes writing messages too easy. Just move your fingers over letters to compose emails or texts in a snap. I would highly recommend looking into this phone.
